Piedmont Makeover

The 70's juniper, the  water-thirsty front lawn and a failing brick retaining wall were the catalysts for change in this mid-century rancher. The new brick-capped concrete and stucco retaining walls enclose a new drought-tolerant and very low maintenance garden, complete with several small trees and unique shrubs. Large boulders were incorporated for a dramatic touch and the boulder water feature is a focal point for the front entry of the house.
